Lymphoma Blood Disorder

Lymphoma is a group of blood malignancies that develop from lymphocytes (a type of white blood cell). The name often refers to cancer versions rather than all of these tumors. Signs and symptoms may include enlarged lymph nodes, fever, drinking sweats, unintended weight loss, itching, and constant tiredness. The lymph nodes which are enlarged are usually painless. The sweats are more common at night, there are multiple lymphoma subtypes. Non-Hodgkin lymphomas (NHL) (90% of cases) and Hodgkin lymphomas (HL) (10%) are the two major groups of lymphomas. The World Health Organization (WHO) includes as lymphoma types two further categories: multiple myeloma and immunoproliferative diseases. Approximately 90 percent of lymphomas are non-Hodgkin lymphomas. Lymphomas and leukemias form part of the wider hematopoietic and lymphoid tissue tumor group.
