Horticultural crops provide humans with many valuable products. The improvement of the yield and quality of horticultural crops has been increasing in research attention. Gives the development and advantages of genome-editing technologies. Research which uses the genome editing to improve horticultural crops that has been substantially increased in recent years. Here, we use different types of genome-editing systems which are used in horticultural research that focus on clustered regularly interspaced palindromic repeats (CRISPR)/CRISPR-associated 9 (Cas9).The combination of rapid advancement in genome-editing technology helps in the increase of horticultural crop production and quality
