Cat Scratch Disease Top Journals
After a cat scratches, bites, or licks you Cat-scratch disease occurs. It is caused due to bacteria in cat saliva and that bacteria from fleas enters cat. An another name of cat-scratch disease is cat-scratch fever. It is not a severe illness in healthy people, those who has high immunity levels, but it can be a problem for young children or elder people or people with weak immune systems. A red bump, sore, or blister develop where a cat has scratched. This happens 3 to 10 days after the scratch. The sore or blister take a long time to heal and experience a low-grade fever (under 102°F), headache, fatigue, or poor appetite.
