BIO DIESEL
Biodiesel may be a sort of diesel oil derived from plants or animals and consisting of long-chain carboxylic acid esters. it's typically made by chemically reacting lipids like fat (tallow), soyabean oil , or another oil with an alcohol, producing a methyl, ethyl or propyl ester.
Unlike the vegetable and waste oils wont to fuel converted diesel engines, biodiesel may be a drop-in biofuel, meaning it's compatible with existing diesel engines and distribution infrastructure. Biodiesel are often used alone or blended with petrodiesel in any proportions. Biodiesel blends can also be used as heating oil.
Biodiesel are often utilized in pure form (B100) or could also be blended with petroleum diesel at any concentration in most injection pump diesel engines. New extreme high-pressure (29,000 psi) common rail engines have strict factory limits of B5 or B20, counting on manufacturer. Biodiesel has different solvent properties and presumably will have already been replaced with FKM, which is nonreactive to biodiesel. Biodiesel has been known to interrupt down deposits of residue within the fuel lines where petrodiesel has been used. As a result, fuel filters may become clogged with particulates if a fast transition to pure biodiesel is formed . Therefore, it's recommended to vary the fuel filters on engines and heaters shortly after first switching to a biodiesel blend.
