Poultry Online Journals
The Journal of Poultry Research publishes original research reports, field reports, and reviews on breeding, hatching, health and disease, layer management, meat bird processing and products, meat bird management, microbiology, food safety, nutrition, environment, sanitation, welfare, and economics. Poultry also involves further birds that are killed for their meat, for example the young of pigeons called as squabs but do not contain same wild birds hunted for sport or food are called as game. The word poultry derived from the French word poule, themselves derived from the Latin word pullus that means small animal. The training of poultry took place various thousand years ago. This might have initially been as a result of people incubating and breeding young birds from eggs taken from the wild, but after related keeping the birds permanently in captivity.
