CRP Levels And Leukocytes

C-reactive protein (CRP), a marker of acute-phase incendiary response, has been indicated to be useful for early detection of cancer. A recent meta-analysis using 14 potential studies of circulating CRP and any incident cancer, consist of 3,957 cancer cases. Since CRP is an acute phase-protein, constant measurements and other signs of inflammation could possibly be more informative in predicting cancer risk in the perspective of inflammation. To our knowledge no potential study has yet performed an analysis of more than two duplicated measurements of CRP and only one study reviewed CRP in parallel with leukocytes
