Cancer Imaging

The Cancer Imaging uses cutting-edge imaging techniques to understand cancer’s development and response to treatment as a means of accelerating the discovery of new therapies. Cancer Imaging is a meeting for radiologists with an interest in cancer imaging and those occupied in research in this field. The aim of the new journal is to promote education in the rapidly advancing area of cancer imaging and to discuss new research into the study of human tumour behaviour. This is the formal journal of the International Cancer Imaging Society. Human cancers show complex structures, which present substantial inter and intratumor heterogeneity in their genetic expression and phenotypic characteristics. However, cancers usually exhibit characteristic structural, physiologic, and molecular features and display specific biological capabilities named hallmarks. Numerous of these tumor traits are image forming through various imaging techniques.
