Flunitrazepam, also referred to as Rohypnol, may be a member of a category of medicine called benzodiazepines. Benzodiazepines are central systema nervosum (CNS) depressants that induce sedation and are typically wont to treat anxiety and sleep disorders. Flunitrazepam, a really strong sedative-hypnotic, isn't legal within the us and has never been approved for medical use.
