Basically, 3D printing may be a fabrication technique in which automatically layer-by-layer materials are being deposited to make various design of choice. the first objective of this manuscript is to debate modern methods, techniques, and current trends, polymers of choice and recent applications of 3D printing technology applying within the pharmaceutical sector. Recently, the FDA has approved 3D printed tablet called Spritam, which brings an incredible boost within the preparation of fabricated drug delivery system and personalized medicine. during this review, special importance was given to spotlight the challenges and
future perspectives of 3D printed technology within the pharmaceutical sector.
Drug delivery are often defined as an approach through which systems, technologies, and formulation are often developed, which helps explicitly in drug transportation within the biological fluid and succeeding desired biological effects . With the increased development of science and technologies within the pharmaceutical field, there are new concepts within the design of medicine , manufacturing technology, processes, and for better understanding which helps to realize a top quality of dosage form . Within the previous couple of decades, the event of drug product has been under study, and various novel dosage forms and therefore the technological process has been developed.
