Drowning Open Access Journal
Drowning is defined as respiratory impairment as a results of being in or underneath a liquid. Drowning typically happens mutely, with only a number of people ready to wave their hands or call for facilitate. Symptoms following rescue could include respiration issues, vomiting, confusion, or unconsciousness. sometimes symptoms might not seem till up to 6 hours subsequently. Drowning is also complicated by low body temperature, aspiration of vomit, or acute respiratory distress syndrome.
It is a common once the weather is heat and among those with frequent access to water. Risk factors include alcohol use, epilepsy, and low socioeconomic status. Common locations of drowning include bathtubs, swimming pools, natural, buckets and bodies of water.
