Social Protection Journal

This article goal is to give a discussion on the potential of social protection contribution to resolve health insecurity, poverty, and vulnerability made by healthcare expenditure in low-income countries, to examine the gaps in present and suggested social protection steps in healthcare and hives proposals on how social protection intervention targeted at tackle health insecurity, poverty, and vulnerability might be efficiently applied. Social protection programs are a strong tool for reducing poverty. Social protection means the conditional and unconditional cash transfers, food rations, public works programs, school feeding, and programs specific to the elderly and disabled. By transferring resources to the poor, often with incentives to improve schooling and maternal and child health, these programs aim to limit the long-term effects of chronic deprivation and to reduce poverty traps.
