Pseudomonas Aeruginosa Journals

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is an opportunistic pathogen affecting immunocompromised patients and is the most frequently isolated bacterium among those gram negative rods that are obligate aerobes (non-fermenters). It is known as the leading cause of morbidity and mortality in cystic fibrosis (CF) patients and as one of the leading causes of nosocomial infections where the source is often contaminated IV fluids, ophthalmic solutions, hydrotherapy tanks, respiratory equipment and even disinfectant solutions such as quaternary ammonium compounds. Due to a variety of mechanisms for adaptation, existence and resistance to various classes of antibiotics, infections by P. aeruginosa strains can be acute and it is emerging worldwide as public health threat. This review highlights the diversity of mechanisms by which P. aeruginosa promotes its existence and persistence in various environments and particularly at different stages of pathogenesis. Journal is designed to bring together research aimed at wide range of fields in its discipline to create a platform for the authors to make their contribution towards the journal and the editorial office promises peer reviewing for the submitted manuscripts to ensure quality. The published papers are made highly visible to the scientific community through a wide indexing policy freely available through online without any restrictions or any other subscriptions to researchers worldwide.
