Polluting - Activities

Polluting activities include eruptions of volcanoes, dust storms, and forest fires. Human activities create a major cause of air pollution, especially in large cities. Air pollution is mainly caused due to factories, power plants, cars, airplanes, chemicals, fumes from spray cans, and methane gas from landfills. Industrial sectors emit large quantity of particulate matter, such as sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide and other noxious gases. Almost all of the common air pollutants can be produced by Industrial processes, Transport Emissions, Agriculture Side-Effects, Home heating, Home cooking, Volcano Eruptions, Forest Fires, Tobacco smoke, Metal Smelting, Aerosols and CFCs etc.
