The basis of the performance-management process includes a clear-cut explanation of the job, expectations. In which performance will be intended, and the process that will be utilized. Managers and employees are similar to become truly frustrated by constant changes in the process, confusion of expectations, the inclusion of unclear or inability to measure performance. While some flexibleness in the process is needed, organizations that have careless, poorly interconnected performance-management processes or that lack senior support for the same usually contribute to problems that develop managers and employees. Organizations that do not distinctly define the manager or employment relationship and that do not promote immediate, ongoing response can find themselves with ineffective managers and stagnant or lost employees.
