Mild Cognitive Impairment Open Access
Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is that the stage between the expected cognitive decline of normal aging and thus the more serious decline of dementia.
But these changes aren't severe enough to significantly interfere along side your lifestyle and usual activities.
There's no single explanation for mild cognitive impairment (MCI), whilst there's no single outcome for the disorder. Symptoms of MCI may remain stable for years, reach Alzheimer's disease or another kind of dementia, or improve over time.
Presbyacusis, an age-related deafness , may be a common disorder in elderly. it's a progressive disorder affecting hearing functions. it's usually characterized by progressive deafness at high frequencies, which are particularly important for speech recognition
almost like this problem, there are an age-related losses in cognitive processing including speed of data processing, memory and a spotlight . Recent advances in research and clinical practice are driven by questions deafness and cognitive processing, with a rise with the age of the prevalence and incidence of the mild cognitive impairment (MCI).
