Journal of Neuroinformatics and Neuroimaging is an international peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes high-quality original research articles, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, technology reports and perspectives on research developments in the fields of neuroinformatics and neuroimaging.
The journal is directed to neurologists, neuroradiologists, neuroinformaticians and others involved in research and practice of NeuroIogy and Neuroimaging.
Aims and Scope
The scope of the Journal of Neuroinformatics and Neuroimaging encompasses broad spectrum of themes including neuromedicine, neuroscience, psychology, neuroradiology, brain imaging, brain computer interfaces, neurosurgery, functional integration of neurobiology, medical image computing, neuroscience databases, computational neuroscience, systems neuroscience, brain reading and neuroethology.
The journal provides a forum for the exchange of information on biomedical applications of advanced neuroimaging techniques such as Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), magnetoenccephalography, positron emission tomography (PET), cranial ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), integrative neuroscience research projects, softwares and databases such as Genes to Cognition project, Neurogenetics: Gene Network, The Blue Brain Project, The Neuroinformatics Portal Pilot, The CARMEN Project, The Cognitive Atlas, Neocortical Microcircuit Database, SenseLab, BrainMaps.org, etc.
All the submitted manuscripts undergo peer-review done by the subject matter experts under the aegis of the Editor-in-Chief or assigned Editorial committee member of the Journal of Neuroinformatics and Neuroimaging. Approval of at least two reviewers and the editor is mandatory for any manuscript to be considered for publication.
