Journalism is nothing but gathering of stories, processing of stories , dissemination of stories and knowledge associated with the news to public. Journalism is conducted through media and it varies diversely which include content published through medium , broadcasting, and digital media. Mass communication & journalism will pursue impact factor by the end of this year because this is a new journal and to get an impact factor for the journal we require minimum of 3 years data. The impact factor of journal provides quantitative assessment tool for grading, evaluating, sorting and comparing journals of comparable kind. It reflects the typical number of citations to recent articles published in science and science journals during a particular year or period, and is usually used as a proxy for the relative importance.
