 Hypertension is a medical condition  that is  the blood in the arteries is persistently elevated. The High blood pressure typically does not cause symptoms but Long-term high blood pressure is a major risk factor for coronary artery disease, stroke, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, peripheral arterial disease, vision loss, chronic kidney disease, and dementia.  It is expressed  in terms of two measurements that is in the form of  systolic and diastolic pressures, which are also known as maximum and minimum pressures respectively. High blood pressure is classified as primary hypertension or secondary hypertension Blood pressure is expressed by two measurements, the systolic and diastolic pressures. For most of the adults, normal blood pressure ranges between 100-130 millimeters mercury at rest .
