This interdisciplinary journal advances the proposition that each one aspect of health and health care delivery are often appreciated from a systems perspective. The major assignment is to assemble established serious disciplines within the health, and to provide a forum that entertains diverse viewpoints and explores qualitative, quantitative, and conceptual research approaches. The journal regards this systems approach as being widely applicable to all or any areas of health and health care delivery, from public health to hospitals, medical care, telemedicine, disparities and community health. An extra objective of the journal is to foster innovative work which blends the expertise of contributors from different disciplines into a real interdisciplinary outcome.
