Greater Trochanteric Pain Syndrome

It has the function, in common with other bursae, of working as a shock and as a lubricant for the movement of the muscles adjacent there to infrequently, this bursa can become red-looking and clinically painful and warm. This condition can be a manifestation of an injury , but sometimes arises for no obviously definable cause. The symptoms are pain within the hip region on walking, and tenderness over the upper a part of the femur, which can end in the lack to dwell comfort on the affected side. This is most common in middle aged women leading to a severe problem to them.
