Child Birth

 Childbirth is also known as delivery where one or more babies leave the uterus by passing through the vagina or by Caesarean section. The common way of childbirth is by vaginal delivery that involves three stages of labour by shortening and opening of the cervix, descent birth of baby, and delivery of the placenta. The most prominent sign of labour is strong repetitive uterine contractions. The stress levels reported by labour women vary widely as they appear that are influenced by fear and anxiety levels. Experiences with prior childbirth, cultural ideas of childbirth and pain received during the labour have Individual expectations i.e. is support from caregivers, quality of the caregiver-patient relationship, and involvement in decision-making are more important in women's overall satisfaction with the experience of childbirth.
