Body Mass Index Among Youth

Family meals have been recognised as a protective influence against size among youth. However, gender specificities with admiration to the relationship among the occurrence of family repasts and body mass index (BMI) have not been inspected. The resolution of this study was to scrutinize the relationship concerning the incidence of family meals and BMI in male and female adolescents, while regulatory for potential confusing factors accompanying with BMI, such as parental schooling, adolescent's age, and snack-food drinking. Study participants were 734 male and 1030 female scholars employed from middle schools and high schools in the capital section of Canada.
