Aquatic Plants Impact Factor

Aquatic plants are plants that are adapted to live in aquatic environments. They are also referring to as hydrophytes or macrophytes to differentiate them from algae and other microphytes. A macrophyte is a plant that grows in or near water and is emergent, submergent, or floating. The most general adaptation is the presence of lightweight internal packing cells, aerenchyma, but floating leaves and finely dissected leaves are also common. Aquatic plants can only grow in water or in soil that is often saturated with water. They are for that reason a common component of wetlands. There is a large amount of fauna present underneath the water which helps in the survival of aquatic animals and also keeps the environment safe. The impact factor of journal provides quantitative estimation tool to grade, evaluate, sort and compare journals of similar kind. It reflects the average number of citations to recent articles published in science and social science journals in a particular year or period, and is commonly used as a proxy for the relative significance of a journal within its field.
