A Benthic Diversity
The groups of organisms which live in, or near the aquatic region are known as benthos or benthic zone. Biodiversity is usually defined as the variety of life in genes, species and habitats. The impact factor of journal provides quantitative assessment tool for grading, evaluating, sorting and comparing journals of comparable kind. It reflects the typical number of citations to recent articles published in science and science journals during a particular year or period, and is usually used as a proxy for the comparative position of a journal within its field. It is first devised by Eugene Garfield, the founding father of the Institute for Scientific Information. The impact factor of a journal is evaluated by dividing the amount of current year citations to the source items published therein journal during the previous two years.
