Abstract:

8 million tonnes of olive waste are produced each year worldwide. That is after the oil has been extracted the skin, flesh, stone and seed remain. There is no uniform way of disposing of or processing this in Europe, or anywhere else. It gets turned into cheap bio fuel that produces GHG’s, it gets dumped causing air, soil and water pollution. Through a proprietary caramelization process. The Olive Feed Corporation has transformed this waste into a palatable, safe and nutritious animal feed, that when consumed by animals produces the most flavorful and expensive meat in the world, while also reducing methane gas emissions from animals.
