Spinal Cord Injury Peer-review Journals
Motor and sensory nerves outside the central nervous system constitute the peripheral nervous system. This injury is basically related to spinal cord. IThe symptoms may include pain or paralysis or may be incontinence. A spinal fracture is a fracture affecting the bones of the spinal cord. All personnel caring for the patient should be able to recognize the symptoms and be able to intervene promptly. Traumatic spinal cord injury is perhaps the most devastating orthopedic injury and with prolonged survival being the rule, rehabilitation of these injuries has an increasingly important role. All people need spinal cord injury rehabilitation to optimize recovery and adapt to a new way of life after a spinal cord injury.
