Refractive Surgery Open Access Journals
Refractive surgery is called as Laser eye surgery. It is a surgery wont to correct vision problems. The reports after refractive and laser eye surgery resulted better seeing than that they had at any time before. The refractive and laser surgery involves reshaping of the cornea, clearing the front a part of the attention that result in proper light travelling onto the retina. The different sorts of refractive and laser surgery so as to enhance eye vision that include: Photorefractive keratectomy, Laser epithelial keratomileusis, Refractive lens exchange, EpiLasik, Presbyopic lens exchange, Intracranial ring segments, Phakic intraocular lens implants, Radial keratotomy. Radial keratotomy (RK), photorefractive keratectomy (PRK), and laser in place keratomileusis (LASIK) are used for the correction of myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism. The performance of the mixture of Haigis and TK in refractive prediction was comparable Haigis-L and Barrett True-K in eyes with previous corneal refractive surgery.
