Mycoplasma Hyopneumoniae Open Access Journal

Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae is that the cause of mycoplasmal pneumonia of swine, usually referred to as enzootic pneumonia. it's a common, chronic, usually nonfatal  disease of young pigs. The disease is also endemic, or spread slowly however progressively through a facility over the course of weeks, and the morbidity rate is also as high as 70-100%. although pigs as young as five weeks of age could develop disease, it's most significant in grower-finisher pigs and may be a key component of fatal complex pneumonia in 4- to 6-month-old hogs. Clinical expressions of the uncomplicated disease are unthriftiness, coughing, poor weight gain, and reduced feed conversion.
