Mycofiltration is the spearheading strategy of utilizing organisms to sift through toxins from water. First created in the USA by Paul Stamets, we are trialing it here along the River Wandle without precedent for the UK! We have put a few 'mycofilters' around surface water outfalls that channel into the stream to catch contaminations, for example, overwhelming metals, hydrocarbons, microorganisms and abundance supplements and will screen their adequacy over the coming year.
