Macrophomina Phaseolina

Macrophomina phaseolina is a Botryosphaeriaceae plant pathogen fungus this causes damping off, collar rot, seedling blight, stem rot, basal stem rot, charcoal rot and root rot on many plant species. The most harmful seed and soil borne pathogens,are  Macrophomina phaseolina is a fungus this infects nearly about  500 plant species is more than 100 families. The hosts includes: peanut, cabbage, chickpea, pepper,  soybean, sunflower, sweet potato, alfalfa, sesame, potato, sorghum, wheat, and corn, among others. The identification of isolates about M. phaseolina is typically depends on morphology and  it efforts to divide the pathogen into subspecies, but there is a wide intraspecific variations in the phenotype of the isolates, these criteria is often not reliable.
