International accounting is a specialty accounting within the entire field that is concentrated by using specific accounting regulations that are as relevant in the US as they are when you are an effort on the books of a company overseas. Domestic accountants in the United States still use and some believe those are outdated techniques and standards referred to as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and follow those principles.
