Having HIV/AIDS can make infections harder to treat. People with HIV/AIDS also are more likely to possess complications from common illnesses like the flu.

You can help prevent infections by taking your HIV/AIDS medicines. Other things which will help include practicing sexual activity, washing your hands well and maintaining distance with people, and sometimes, and cooking your food thoroughly.
