Hepatology

Hepatology is a branch of drugs concerned with the study, anticipation, analysis and management of diseases that affect the liver, gallbladder, biliary tree and pancreas. The term hepatology springs from the Greek words “hepatikos” and “logia,” which mean liver and study, respectively.
