Geriatrics, or geriatric medicine that focuses on health care of elderly people. It objects to promote health by preventing diseases and disabilities in older adults. There is no age difference to take care of a geriatrician, or geriatric physician. A physician who specializes in the care of elderly people. Besides this it is determined by the individual patient's needs, and the availability of a specialist and it is important to note the difference between geriatrics and Geriatric Medicine. However, geriatrics is sometimes called medical gerontology. Journal of Palliative Care & Medicine is a peer reviewed medical journal that includes a wide range of fields and creates a platform for the authors to contribute towards the journal.
