Coastal Tourism Development
The increasing request for resorts has brought to about considerable changes in the spatial and structural designs of coastal tourism development in the Southeast Asia. Although unplanned resort development has result that will continue to have negative influences on the coastal environment, integrated resort development will increase meaningfully in future. Islands, which frequently are ideal locations for resorts, are more susceptible because of their limited resources and size. Coastal tourism development has frequently insufficiently understood at the coastal environment. The tourism knowledge provides the valuable lessons for all coastal zone management they are necessity for Environmental Impact Assessment, evaluation of small-scale resort development, consideration of conservation, management of increasing tourist numbers, defining and revising planning standards and aiming for maintainable development.
