Biogeochemical Cycles Open Access Journals
Biogeochemical cycles are natural recycles that habitats survival of ecosystems. These are biological, geological and chemical elements cycles, juggling between Earth and its atmosphere. These cycles circulate matter among the biosphere, lithosphere, atmosphere and hydrosphere. Cycles are gaseous (which include nitrogen, oxygen, carbon and water) and sedimentary. These elements are transported by means of evaporation, absorption by plants and dispersion by wind. The Leeching of minerals and salts from the Earth's crust is called Sedimentary cycles. Those minerals and salts then settle as sediment or rock before the cycle repeat. These cycles are vital as they regulate the elements crucial for life on Earth. A simple example of biogeochemical cycles is water which evaporates from the oceans, condenses as clouds and precipitates as rain, adding to the water bodies on earth and goes on like a cycle.
