Best Open Access Journals On Pediatric Oncology
Pediatric oncology has experienced great successes within the last 40 years, but daunting challenges must be overcome if these successes are to continue. Only a few therapies wont to treat childhood cancer today are targeted in nature and as a result, treatment is usually amid significant acute and long-term toxicities. Continued improvement in outcomes requires the event of targeted therapies that are simpler and fewer toxic. We must find out how to effectively and safely integrate targeted therapies like small molecules and immunotherapy into cytotoxic regimens to enhance outcomes and/or develop these as stand-alone therapies for diseases and subgroups that haven't benefited from dose intensive approaches.
