Bacillus Cereus Journal

Bacillus cereus may be a toxin-producing facultative anaerobic gram-positive bacterium. The bacteria are usually found within the environment, are usually found in soil and vegetation, and may be present in foods. It can quickly multiply at room temperature. There are two main sorts of intestinal illnesses caused by B. cereus. One is diarrheal, and one leads more to nausea/vomiting. B. cereus has also been implicated in infections of the attention, tract, and in wounds. The pathogenicity of B. cereus, whether intestinal or non-intestinal, is intimately connected to the assembly of tissue-destructive exoenzymes. Amongst these secreted toxins are four hemolysins, three different phospholipases, an emesis-inducing toxin, and proteases.
