Solar Energy

Solar energy is a Renewable Energy Source which is generally a radiant light and heat from the Sun that is harnessed using a range of ever-evolving technologies such as solar heating, solar thermal energy, photovoltaics, solar architecture, artificial photosynthesis and molten salt power plants. Solar energy uses sunlight to create photovoltaic power (PV) or concentrated solar power (CSP) for solar heating. This energy conversion allows solar to be used to power auto motives, pools, lights, heaters and gadgets. Advantages includes: Electricity bills reduction, low maintenance costs, diverse application. Disadvantages include includes: Weather dependent, initial cost of purchasing is high, energy storage is expensive, requires lot of space, associated with pollution.
