Sleep Quality And Pain

Pain joins two connected concerns stress and poor health as key correlates of shorter sleep duration and worse sleep quality. But there are paths to resolving the problem: The sleep gap narrows sharply among those that make sleep a priority. When pain is first experienced, most of the people don't experience sleeplessness. However, when pain becomes a drag, it is often a vicious circle. If someone experiences poor sleep thanks to pain one night, he or she is probably going to experience more problems subsequent night then on. It gets worse and worse nightly. Also, we all know that pain triggers poor sleep. for an example, someone experiencing lower back pain may experience several intense microarousals (a change within the sleep state to a lighter stage of sleep) per each hour of sleep, which cause awakenings. However, microarousals are innocuous for an individual not experiencing chronic pain. Pain may be a serious intrusion to sleep. Pain is usually related to insomnia and these coexisting problems are often difficult to treat. One problem can exacerbate the opposite.
