Sedimentary Rocks Scientific Journals
Sedimentary rocks usually form from the deposition of material at the surface of the earth and underwater. Sedimentation is a process that causes the minerals to settle and accumulate from the solution. Particles that form sedimentary rock by accumulation is called sediment. Sediment was formed by weathering and erosion which is then transported to the place of deposition by ice, mass, wind, water, or glaciers. Sedimentary rocks contain information regarding the history of the Earth. It may be fossils, the remains of ancient plants and animals. Scientific journal is a periodical publication intended to further progress of science, usually by reporting novel research. There are thousands of scientific journals in publication, and many more have been published at different points in the past.
