Schistosomiasis Impact Factor

Schistosomiasis is a parasitic worm disease with most infections caused by Schistosoma. Schistosomiasis is a complex disease that requires both a freshwater snail and human host for propagation of the parasite. Coupling of male and female Schistosoma in the blood of the human produces many thousands of eggs that migrate through the intestine or bladder wall and are excreted in the fences or urine respectively. It occurs in Africa, the Middle East, parts of the Caribbean and South America often in rural areas that lack basic sanitation. Medical & Surgical Urology is an open access publication that consists of scientific works on all important fields of Urology that includes the Surgery for Urology, Urinary Tract Infections, Genitourinary Disorders, Urologic Oncology, and Urogynecology. The scope of the journal is not restricted to just Urology alone but also studies related to nephrology, transplant research etc.
