Respiratory Viral Infections New Open Access Journals
The respiratory viral infection is the major health problem inception of morbidity and mortality. Infancy, in particular, is a time of increased disease susceptibility and severity. Early-life viral ill-health movement acute illness and can be associated with the development of wheezing and asthma in later life. The most commonly detected viruses are a respiratory syncytial virus, rhinovirus, and influenza virus. Viral respiratory tract infection is a frequent trigger, as are other infectious agents, cigarette smoke, pollutants, allergens, and respiratory irritants that implicated in disturbing lower airway homeostasis. Viral respiratory infections are typically diagnosed clinically based on symptoms and local epidemiology. For patient care, diagnosing the syndrome is usually sufficient; identification of a specific pathogen is rarely necessary.
