Plantar Fascitis Open Access Journals

Plantar fasciitis  is one among the foremost common causes of heel pain. It involves inflammation of a thick band of tissue that runs across rock bottom of your foot and connects your heel bone to your toes (plantar fascia).

Plantar fasciitis usually causes stabbing pain that sometimes occurs along with your initial steps within the morning. As you rise up and move, the pain commonly decreases, however it would come when long periods of standing or once you arise when sitting.

Plantar fasciitis is more common in runners. people are overweight and those who wear shoes with inadequate support even have an exaggerated risk of plantar fasciitis.
