Palliative Medicine
Palliative Medicine care is the specialized care for the people living with a serious illness. And this type of care is mainly focused on providing relief for illness and stress from illness. The main goal is to provide the quality of life for both the patient and as well as well as for the family. It is treated by trained doctors, nurses and other specialists who work together with other doctors provides an extra layer of support. It is mainly based on the needs of the patient, not on the patient’s prognosis. It is occurs at any age and at any stage in a serious illness, and it can be provided along with curative treatment. Palliative care teams focus on quality of life.
