Ovaries
Ovaries are the feminine gonads the first female reproductive organs. These glands have 3 important functions: they secrete hormones, they protect the eggs a female is born with and that they release eggs for possible fertilization. The ovaries have three functions. First, they shelter and protect the eggs a female is born with until they're ready to be used. it's thought that ladies are born with their lifetime supply of eggs, but a study by the University of Edinburgh's School of Biological Sciences found that chemotherapy might spark the event of latest eggs. This research involves only a couple of patients, but its discovery was consistent and its outcome could also be significant and far-reaching, study researcher Evelyn Telfer, a professor at the University of Edinburgh's School of Biological Sciences, said during a statement. "We got to know more about how this drugs combination acts on the ovaries, and therefore the implications of this."
