Women in government ar underrepresented in most, if not all, countries worldwide. In several countries, ladies have had inadequate opportunities in social participation, particularly in striving for political rights and power within the government and completely different institutions.[1] This historical tendency still persists, although ladies are progressively being elected to be heads of state and government.
Women might face a number of challenges that have an effect on their ability to participate in political life and become political leaders. variety of countries ar exploring measures that will increase women's participation in government at all levels, from the local to the national. However, additional and more women are pursuing leadership positions within the present day.
