Oil Spills

An oil spill is the liberate of a liquid petroleum hydrocarbon into the environment, particularly the marine ecosystem, due to human activity, and is a type of pollution. The term is frequently given to marine oil spills, where oil is unconfined into the ocean or coastal waters, but spills may also occur on land. Oil spills may be due to liberate of crude oil from tankersoffshore platformsdrilling rigs and wells, as well as spills of refined petroleum products (such as gasolinediesel) and their by products, heavier fuels used by large ships such as trench fuel, or the spill of a few oily rebuff or waste oil
