Obesity Care
Obesity is caused when large amount of body fat has collected which shows the adverse effects on health. It is defined by body mass index (BMI) that is further evaluated in terms of fat distribution based on waist–hip ratio and total cardiovascular risk factors. It is caused by a combination of excessive food intake that results in the lack of physical activity, and genetic susceptibility. There are less chances to occur obesity by genes, endocrine disorders, medications, or mental disorder.The view of the overweight people eat little yet they gain weight due to a slow metabolism that is not medically supported. On an average, obese people have a greater energy expenditure than their normal counterparts due to the energy which is used to maintain an increased diet.
