Microbial Forensics-1

Microbial forensics refers to the study of the application of bioweapon, and therefore the unintended announcement or normal growth of hazardous microorganisms. The term may also include the study of a person’s specific microbiome for means of identification, the location of a crime and the time of death of an individual based on the progress of the microbiome during decomposition. Microbial Forensics is a rapidly evolving scientific discipline. In the last decade, and particularly thanks to the anthrax letter attacks within the us, microbial forensics has become more formalized and has played an increasingly greater role in crime investigations. This has brought renewed interest, development and application of new technologies, and new rules of forensic and policy engagement. It has various requests starting from biodefense, illegal investigations, providing intelligence, making society safer, and helping defend valuable resources, mainly human life. A mixture of varied areas is investigated, including the main corrections of biology, microbiology, medicine, chemistry, physics, statistics, population genetics, and computing.
